At the 2024 Taipei Creative Stationery Fair, Link Upon brought an entirely new creative experience—a Mixed Media Art Event! We had the pleasure of inviting the rising star from campus, ELMA, to demonstrate mixed media techniques on-site, catching the attention of many visitors. Let’s take a look back at the exciting highlights of the day!
A Perfect Art Feast
The main visual design of the event was just like an art gallery, showcasing the beauty of mixed media art. Each artwork on the wall combined crayons and watercolors, creating rich layers and vibrant colors. Below each painting, watercolor- painting notes fluttered like they were dancing among the artworks. It was a true feast for the eyes, as a unique and eye-catching display at the stationery fair.
Live Art Demonstration
We were thrilled to have ELMA, the young generation campus star, join us for a live painting session. ELMA skillfully mixed various media—watercolors, water-based crayons, soft pastels, crayons, resin crayons—with a watercolor painting book, bringing out vivid-layered colors. The demonstration brilliantly showcased the charm of the watercolor painting book, and thanks to ELMA’s creative display, the watercolor painting books were a huge hit, selling out completely along with the pocket watercolors used!
Mixed Media and Interactive Colors
ELMA’s demonstration sparked curiosity among the audience about using multiple drawing materials together. The atmosphere quickly turned into an enthusiastic creative interaction, especially with the kids eagerly requesting their favorite designs (they weren’t shy about it!). ELMA graciously fulfilled every request, like a fairy granting wishes, filling the space with joy and creativity.
By the end of the event, the kids happily walked away with their wish-filled designs, and everyone picked out their favorite drawing materials to take home and start creating! This year, the Creative Stationery Fair not only bring inspiration and happiness; it also showed us the limitless creativity and possibilities that mixed media can inspire.
